SHARING THE TECHNOLOGY IN CATEGORICAL FEED FOR PIGLETS AND SOWS AT "INTRODUCTION INTO NEW TECHNICAL ADVANCES IN HUSBANDRY AND VETERINARY FOR BUSINESS SECTOR" WORKSHOP

On August 16, 2018, Hong Ha Nutrition Joint Stock Company was invited to attend the seminar "Introduction into new technical advances in husbandry and veterinery business sector" at Louis Hotel, Hon Dau Resort, Hai Phong. The workshop was organized by the National Agricultural Extension Center in cooperation with the Department of Livestock Production and the Institute of Husbandry.

Among the attendants, there was Mr. Tran Van Khoi - Acting Director of the National Agricultural Extension Center; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son - Deputy Director of Livestock Department. The workshop was attended by representatives from the National Agricultural Extension Center, Department of Livestock Production, Institution of Husbandry (affiliated centers of the institute), agricultural extension centers and nearly 100 typical farmer representatives from Northern provinces.

In the opening speech, Mr Tran Van Khoi, Acting Director of the National Agricultural Extension Center, emphasized: "Every year, the National Agricultural Extension Center usually organizes seminars in various production sectors including husbandry to impart new advanced techniques and practices from businesses. On that basis, the discussion and introduction are meant for application in husbandry.

Attending the seminar, representatives of Hong Ha Nutrition Joint Stock Company, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai - Head of Research & Development Division discussed the technology in feeds for piglets and sows. This is a product technology developed by Hong Ha Nutrition JSC,. in cooperation with UK AB Agri Company, using advanced materials and environmentally friendly advanced nutritional technology, to meet the demands of pig feeding. Especially, it is to emphasize IP21 technology incorporated in piglet food products of Hong Ha Nutrition JSC,. as a high technology advance, widely used in the market, and effective for husbandry.

Also at this workshop, the study sector, research units of the National Institute of Animal Sciences also introduced some of the major advances such as the cow semen of the Vietnam Ruminant Breeding Center and the breeds of the Thuy Phuong Poultry Research Center. The participants shared and exchanged new technological advances on breeding animals and various types of feeds, thereby facilitating the transfer of new technical advances to the farmers.

In the discussion session, the presentation of Agricultural Extension Center also received many comments from the workshop participants. Mr. Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Director of Ha Nam Trade Promotion Center also brought to the discussion on environmental issues in the pig-produce hub Ngoc Lu - Ha Nam, to raise the concern of the Agricultural Extension Center, departments and businesses.

In her speech to end the workshop, Ms. Ha Thuy Hanh - Deputy Director of the National Extension Center highly appreciated the new technical advances in husbandry, veterinary with special priority to enterprises continuously approaching new advances like Hong Ha. Ms. Ha Thuy Hanh emphasized the role of enterprises in their boldly approaching and investing in new technologies; new materials, new technical advances and agricultural promotion through product consumption, and production supply chain. This is also the mindset of Hong Ha in the research and development of products, the desire to help ranchers to access and transfer the new technical advances through the feed products for poultry and aquaculture.
