On January 19, 2018, at the Grand Hotel, the Vietnamese Joint Stock Companies reported for Evaluation (Vietnam Report), and in conjunction with VietnamNet Newspaper officially held the announcement ceremony of VNR500 Ranking - Top 500 Vietnamese largest enterprises in 2017.

After more than 10 years, the VNR500 also recorded the number of private sector enterprises which increase by nearly 2.5 times, accounting for about 50% of the enterprises in this ranking. Accordingly, the budget contribution of the private sector also increased from 27% in 2016 to 32.3% in 2017.

This is the 11th year VNR500 ranking since it was officially announced for honoring the enterprises that had achieved outstanding successes in production or business activities in fiscal year 2017.
