Gentamicin is an antibiotic belongs to the group of aminoglycoside antibiotics. It has a broad-spectrum bactericidal action against large numbers of pathogenic gram-negative and gram-positive bacterium like Staphylococci, Streptococci, E.coli, Salmonella, Pasterurella and Proteus spp. Furthermore gentamicin may be active against bacteria, which are resistant to other aminoglycoside antibiotics(like neomycin, streptomycin, kanamycin, etc.). After intramuscular administration, within 30 to 60 minutes maximum serum concentration are obtained(the seum half-life value is 1 to 4 hours). Gentamicin is excreted mainly from the kidney, resulting in high concentrations of the active compound in the urine.

Manual instruction
Inject the following dose intramuscularly or subcutaneously.(Inject twice the first day)
- Middle and large animal(Pig and Cattle) : 0.04-0.1mL/kg(b.w.)
- Bacterial diarrhea of piglet : 0.1-0.16mL/head
- Poultry : 0.02-0.04mL/head
- Small animal(Cat and Dog) : 0.08-0.1mL/kg(b.w.)
